On Friday 4 April, we hosted our annual Presentation Evening to celebrate the achievements of our Ability, Junior, and Senior sections of Derwentside A.C. This year’s event took place at the Craghead Legion Social Club, where members, families, and friends came together for a fantastic evening of celebration. Alongside a lively disco, raffle, and delicious buffet, the highlight of the night was, of course, the award ceremony — a chance to recognise the hard work, dedication, and success of our athletes over the past year.
With so many standout performances and personal milestones, choosing the winners wasn’t easy. But after much consideration, here are the well-deserved recipients of this year’s awards:
