Hellhole 5 Mile Trail Race

Join us for five mile trail race in Stanley, County Durham. After a short hiatus due to the pandemic, our annual race is back. The five mile course has been modified from previous years to include a more atmospheric start and finish line.

The course is a mix of trail and tarmac path, so it’s a great race for experienced trail runners or those looking to try their first one. This undulating route takes you down railway paths and along beautiful woodland tracks and runners will enjoy 500ft of elevation.

Location: Shield Row School, King Edward VIII Terrace, Stanley, DH9 0HQ. Parking available.
Registration: 8:30am – 9:30am at The Ball Alley Pub beer garden. Marshalls will direct you from the car park to registration.
Entry fee: UKA Member – £16.00,  Non Member – £18.00. Booking online at SiEntries.  
Refreshments can be bought at The Ball Alley pub and we have exclusive access to the beer garden before and after the race.
